A school-based mentoring program for middle school youth offering mentorship that benefits from a highly structured environment, educational tutoring, and character development.
As students in middle school encounter and struggle with social and emotional changes that occur during this transitional period into adulthood, many educators seek outside help for students to be able to develop skills and dispositions—such as resilience, perseverance, and determination—to ensure that they can problem-solve and work through challenges as well as take ownership of their learning and decisions.
We help students improve their performance educationally and develop character strength that would reduce their need for disciplinary action. The program structure is set up as a weekly group session for the duration of the school year. Meetings are held in the school setting and are scheduled either immediately after or before school, or during non-academic time throughout the course of the school day.
